Corrective action request vendor Written

Many companies new quality standards ISO9001: 2008 may not be aware that it is OK to send the request to the corrective measures to the vendor. Hence, for example, that I may I send one customer If you really wanted, but I've never seen before, do so.

Why would you send a request for corrective measures to the vendor? Depending on the specific situation may be easier to just stop by the vendor, and purchase a product or service from someone else. And if your product or service gives you this flexibility, the game has the right to do so.

But many companies, the purchase of goods or services from specialist suppliers. It is possible that a long-term, mutually beneficial relations with suppliers, you do not want to ... or cannot be easily ... end. Possible that the vendor is experiencing rapid growth, or maybe you have depending on the outside of the experienced people to their product or service falls under your standards. Perhaps it is in your interest to help improve their quality prior to go looking for a third-party vendor.

Before you send an request for corrective action at the provider, do you ask yourself a few questions. How badly do you want to or need to interact with this vendor? What is the severity of their lack of quality? This is a one-off error or has a pattern? Their management of actually obtaining rights and that you are happy? How much of a shell, walk you need to do?

If you think about the requirement for the adoption of remedial measures, which caused the vendor and the lack of quality, then perhaps you should do so. But think about the questions here. Be firm but courteous. Chances are the suppliers have provided more than you know, and that is more than happy to take action to solve your problem and prevent it again.

Depending on your industry and types you use the vendor's efforts to improve the quality of products from a vendor, you can save a lot of time and money without having to search for a new supplier and see if there are any better. View the original article here

You have ISO9001-2008 certified? There are 2 types of company ISO9001. Which are you?

In my view, there are basically 2 types of companies that have acquired the certification of ISO9001 2008. Honestly, there are companies that intend to follow the standard in the hope of improving their operations, improving their quality, and ultimately improve their bottom line.

Then there are the companies that get the certificate of ISO9001-2008 on nothing more than a sales tool to open the door, that would be otherwise undesirable.

For both types of companies I have worked in the past. Let me tell you more fun, working for companies that really want to register the ISO9001, power and comply with them.

A few months ago I visited Before small companies in the area of the Bay, which has been struggling with their quality management system ISO9001-2008. Their sound quality guy should end until a few months. From the quality of the guy left nobody was carried out by experts of ISO9001. No records. No internal audits. No corrective measures. No message loop.

Their quality system was trying to kill mosquitoes observation with the B-52. Not surprisingly, not wishing to work with the system, their system was too difficult to use. Yet another example of the quality of the person so that he could only understand, thus ensuring that he could not get to write documents of the quality system in such a way. This is my guess, though.

As well as their documents are revised and shaved from about 50 percent of pages. Maintain as simple as possible, I always say, and people will be more of an inclined to use it.

Now, months after the road, you're still not done so already, all the internal audits and corrective measures. It seems like they are interested in following their quality management system. The owners of the company they want to have a certificate on the wall that their customers happy, but apparently, where their interest in ISO9001. I'm guessing will be mad switch to create incorrect records a couple of weeks before the next audit of a third party.

For a woman that was HR Manager for the shipping company has been ISO9001 date. Well at least they have a beautiful certificate on the wall. Each year, two weeks before their audit of a third party, all employees should stop by their actual work to build and modify records in a few days. It was fun to watch. Somehow always managed to maintain its certificate.

Seeing companies such as this, the alteration of records and squeak through their audits, I cynical about the true value of ISO9001 2008. You will never forget the auditing team (husband and wife) who actually got drunk at lunch with the owners of the company, then approved the registration of the company.

But then there are good company. According to my experience, most companies that have the certification of ISO9001-2008 actually has. Now the "majority", I mean more than 50 percent. It is not a huge majority of resources. But these good company give me faith that my efforts were not wasted, and that this thing actually some of the values of the ISO9001 to many firms throughout the world.
